The Constitution is simply a document…it can’t defend itself. It takes an informed, involved, and moral citizenry to do that.

But how can we defend it if we don’t know what it says? And more importantly understand its meaning?

We can’t.

The Constitution was written for the average person to understand, but we do have to read it first. And in order to defend it against attacks from the enemies of liberty, we should understand the context in which it was written.
